You can change the load order from the NMM (plugins tab) or launche Skyrimlauncher.exe and goto your data file and from there use the up and down arrows to sort the load order for your mods. I verified the Skyrim file with Steam, and it says '1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired.' So, I don't think the mods are the problem, unfortunately. I activated all mods, and it does the same thing. Yet it would still only open for a second and then close. I checked the mods, but when I ran the game using skse originally, none of the mods were even activated. I pressed 'test' and it said there were no problems.
Okay, I downloaded LOOT, but don't know what to do from there.
